 Ruben Studdard,29, American Idol winner of Season 2, married Surata Zuri McCants,30, on Saturday June 28th.
They exchanged vows at the Canterbury United Methodist Church in Studdard's hometown of Birmingham, Alabama.
Studdard chose 20 groomsmen, and they all stood beside him at the altar wearing black Joseph Abboud tuxedos with black shirts and vests. Studdard wore a white vest with a white bow tie. The bride wore a white ivory floor length Casablanca wedding gown.
A cream colored Cadillac whisked Ruben and Surata away to the reception at Rosewood Hall in SoHo Square in Homewood.
The couple met at Studdards CD signing in an Atlanta Walmart in October 2006.
Studdard was the season 2 winner of American Idol, with Clay Aiken coming in second place in the finals. Studdard had a successful first album "Soulful" selling 1.8 million copies in 2003.
