First off- I just LOVE what I do!! I have been shooting professionally for 15 years and can’t believe the time has flown by so quickly! Every day I am reminded how blessed I am to have a career that I love and enjoy so much.
My work represents itself- if you like the images you see here then I am the photographer for you. I NEVER do a hard sell to a client on myself and work, or extra add prints or products.
I suggest every potential client really be moved by the portfolio of their potential photographer and also that they will work well together. The wedding day is a very special and intimate day, and having the right photographer working with you is vital to a successful day and beautiful images that capture the joy as you begin your life as a married couple! When the wedding day is over you have you spouse, your rings, your in-laws LOL and your images. Choose well 😉

Fabulous Wedding Photo’s by Face Photography! GORGEOUS WEST MICHIGAN PHOTOGRAPHER! As an out-of-town bride, I found it very challenging to select many of my vendors. But I, by far, put the most time and research into selecting a photographer–days and days combing Internet sites. I happened to come across Shelley LaLonde’s work under Face Photography and was so impressed. Her enthusiasm was on par with her portfolio and I booked her right away. I’m so happy that I did! Beautiful engagement and wedding photos! I was recently married in West Michigan, and wanted a photographer that was different and creative. I found Face Photography online and was thrilled. Shelley met with us a week before the wedding and did an awesome engagement shoot with us and our dog 🙂 the pictures were wonderful! At the wedding Shelley and her assistant did an wonderful job, she caught all the special moments. Shelley did a great job at making everyone feel comfortable, and took some amazing shots without posing anyone! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer in the West Michigan area that wants something special to keep forever. THANK YOU!!

Face Photography=AMAZING wedding photos! My husband and I screened through several photographers’ websites, but something amazing stood out from the Face Photography website. We took a chance, and it was totally right! We met with Shelley LaLonde a few weeks before the wedding. She is so passionate about her work, took several photos of my fiance (at the time) and I, and put together reception cards with 1 of 4 different photos telling the guests where and when to find the photos. My guests loved it. During the wedding ceremony and reception, Shelley and her partner were always “behind the scene”, and took tons of beautiful photos! Shelley is an amazing photographer, and we look forward to working with her in the future when professional photography is needed.

Shelley is amazing! She has the ability to put everyone at ease. Her creative style is new and different. There are no “boring pictures!” She sees the beauty around her and captures it perfectly. She takes pictures you will never tire of viewing!
We have enjoyed working with Shelley so much, we have returned again and again. We happened upon her artwork at a doctor’s office. I was so impressed, I took down her information. When our oldest married, Shelley was the obvious choice. We returned for senior pictures, family pictures, and another daughter’s wedding! Even our oldest has returned for family portraits, newborn pictures and sibling pictures.

Shelley was wonderful! She took my senior pictures back in ’05. I loved them! When my husband and I started looking for a photographer for our wedding, I knew I wanted to check with Face Photography first. Again, Shelley out did herself and did such a amazing job on both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. She worked with me to make sure she captured what we wanted on our big day. I will always have such great memories of this day, but now I’ll have all these fantastic pictures to remember it by. Shelley is so friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to work with her again!
