High School Sweethearts Tie the Knot

Bride and Groom - High School Sweethearts

High School Sweethearts, Amanda and Kyle, were married on October 20, 2012 at St. Bridget’s Parish in Maynard, MA and the reception followed at Butternut Farm Golf club in Stow, MA. “The Wedding was filled with sense of love and joy that was coming from the couple” said Marina Zinovyeva Photography LLC, New Hampshire and Massachusetts wedding photography.

Take a look below to find out how Amanda and Kyle met, his proposal, and what Marina uses to give her images that professional look!

“Amanda and Kyle decided to have a ceremony at St. Bridget’s Parish in Maynard, MA . They were not sure what the weather was going to be like in the end of October, but to their pleasant surprise it was almost 80 F that day. Wedding reception took place at Butternut Farm Golf club in Stow, MA close to where Amanda and Kyle had grown up.

Amanda and Kyle are high school sweethearts. Their families knew each other so well that they got together for their wedding proposal and hide in the bushes with cameras to photograph Kyle getting on one knee in front of Amanda to ask her to be his wife. They got engaged on the beach at the sunset that made the proposal even more romantic.

Amanda works with young children so she is incredibly patient and easy going, a dream bride for a photographer. She was smiling the moment I got to her parents house to photograph her getting ready to the last dance eight hours later at the reception.

The Wedding was filled with sense of love and joy that was coming from the couple.

I had been recommended to Amanda and Kyle by their friends Michelle and Jim whose wedding I photographed a year earlier. It made it easier for them since they already had seen me working and saw their friends wedding album.

Amanda is very positive and energetic person, I wanted to capture her wedding in the same manner. To give her and Kyle freedom to be themselves in front of the camera I decided not to pose them as much and it paid off with portfolio quality images. Lighting that day could not be better. We got to the golf club few hours before the sunset and all the outdoors images are filled with fall colors and warm sunshine.

I used my Nikon D600 and D800 with 70-200mm for most of the shots. For lighting I used Einstein™ E640 from Paul Buffs on the light stand. I always use studio lights at the weddings, that gives images professional look and I never have to worry about the sun or dark churches, venues.”
