The Groom and guests arrive at the Church via the historic, winding streets accompanied by Guitar and Mandolin players. The Groom, Best Man and guests including the Town Mayor, Registrar and Interpreter will arrive before the Bride and await her arrival in the traditional Tuk-Tuk or the Vintage Italian Car.

Once it has been announced that the bride is on her way the guests will enter into the Ceremony Venue. The Mayor, Interpreter and the Registrar will then lead the Bride into the ceremony. During the ceremony the Bride & Groom may wish to include any readings or poems that they may have prepared earlier.
Throughout the ceremony normally the traditional Guitars and Mandolins play in the background as it is the Italian tradition to do so. A classical singer may be included and “Ave Maria” is a particular favorite hymn during the ceremony. The ceremony is in English and Italian with a professional choir to assist. After the ceremony, the cutting of the ribbon traditionally takes place by the new Mr & Mrs, then Prosecco Italian Champagne is served for the toast. Photographs are then taken inside and out giving fantastic results for their ‘Special Day’ in this stunning location.
Confetti is a good luck tradition in Italy as is the Cutting of the ribbon ceremony. Favors are given out to all the guests and suppliers assisting the wedding. This is a sign of kindness from the bride and groom and shows their gratitude for their presence and assistance with the wedding day. Favors are five small sugar coated almonds symbolizing good health, wealth, happiness, fertility and longevity for the newlywed couple. Gifts from the Bride and Groom for the bridesmaids and the best man can be organized here in Cilento for arrival or alternatively they may decide to bring more personal gifts along with them.
