This Star Wars inspired wedding was classy, elegant, and so much fun. Jennifer and Joshua chose George Lucas’s American Epic film as their theme because of Jennifer’s lifelong love of star wars. They chose Cacá Santoro Photography to photograph this special event.
Location:
The ceremony and reception was held at the unique and contemporary wedding venue loftSEVEN penthouse on West 7th Street in Los Angeles CA.
Attire:
The bride wore a Stormtrooper-inspired belt
Flower girls wore Princess Leia-inspired belts and had their hair in buns
Father dressed as Darth Vader to dance with his bride, and actually had the heavy breathing sound effects
Groom wore black pants and white jacket with a black lapel
Dessert:
The cake included star wars ships and ice creatures Tauntaun and Wompa from the icy planet of Hoth on top

Recessional Song was Star Wars Main Theme by John Williams
Other Fun Stuff:
Stormtroopers from the 501st Legion greeted guests upon arrival and escorted and guarded the bride and groom throughout the ceremony, the portrait session in downtown LA, and at the reception.
The tables were named “Wookie” “Wampa” “Jedi Knight” “Rebel” “Droid” “Scout Trooper” “Twi’lek” and more.
Fun drink coasters featured the Death Star spacecraft
Lightsabers were available for guests to dance with on the dance floor
A sign placed on the guestbook table read, “Please pick a page and leave your marker on this new chapter in our epic journey” along with Star Wars books for guests to sign.
